Finder Scopes are used to help you locate and center objects with your telescope or spotting scope. Once your finder is aligned with the telescope's optics (an easy thing to do) you will be able to center the desired object in the finder and it will automatically be observable through the scope's eyepiece. Most finders can be used on a variety of telescopes as long as you choose the proper mounting bracket or adapter. A polar scope is used to align your equatorial mount with the celestial pole, and is normally designed to fit a specific make and model of mount. Khan Scope Centre offers a wide range of finderscopes, polar finders, and finder brackets for you to choose from. Call us if you need help making the best choice for your telescope and application.
