July 3 Notice: Â In Stock with very limited supply! Â
The ZWO ASI585MC Air is an ultra-sensitive wireless smart deep-sky camera that integrates a deep-space sensor, a guiding sensor and a smart astrophotography controller. With this all-in-one design, capturing stunning astrophotography has never been easier!
The main imaging CMOS sensor at the heart of the ASI585MC-AIR is the Sony STARVIS 2 IMX585, with a resolution of 3840 x 2160, quantum efficiency of approximately 91%, and a pixel size of 2.9um.  Equipped with Sony's STARVIS 2 technology, this camera's sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio are greatly enhanced, delivering exceptional image quality.
One of the great things about the ASI585MC-AIR is its built-in StarSens SC2210 guide sensor. Â This allows you to forego using a separate guide camera with its own controls in favor of an integrated system. Â This smart camera can do so much; you will be amazed at what you can do!
Featuring ZWOâs self-developed âDual Sensor + ASIAirâ integration technology, you can say goodbye to complex setups and enjoy a seamless, hassle-free imaging experience.
The ASI585MC-AIR provides four (4) USB 2.0 ports for your focuser, filter wheel, and mount; two (3) DC 12V 10A input/output ports for reliable power; and one (1) USB Type-C port for fast file transfersâyou can focus on capturing stunning images without worrying about connectivity issues.
With 256GB eMMC storage, the ASI585MC Air allows you to capture multiple targets with ease. Rigorously tested with over 300 benchmarks, it ensures system stability. Plus, the USB 2.0 ports support up to 1TB external storage, giving you plenty of room for all your astrophotography needs.
The ASI585MC Air exhibits zero amp glow, which ensures extremely clean dark-field images. No matter how long the exposure or gain value setting, you can easily capture high-quality celestial images.  This feature is implemented directly at the hardware level, it does not require software control.
Dual-Band Wi-Fi for a Stable Signal
Experience unparalleled connectivity with ZWO's enhanced external dual-band antenna, supporting both 2.4G and 5G frequencies and offering stable and smooth usage within 20 meters. Â Note that 2.4G has a longer transmission distance but slightly slower speed as compared to 5G. Â The 20-meter range is based on multiple tests of the 2.4G frequency in open areas.
The ASI585MC Air can also wirelessly connect to ZWOâs proprietary PC control software, ASIStudio, and also other 3rd-party PC software (except from the ASIAIR App). Third-party software can be controlled through ASCOM extended protocol Alpaca (requires ASCOM Platform version V6.6 or higher).
Instant Post-Processing and Sharing
Live stack is supported during your imaging session. You may also make adjustments to brightness, contrast and others on the final image. Instantly share your masterpieces on social media platforms and astronomy communities, making your work stand out.
Cooling System
Thanks to the two-stage TEC cooling, ASI585MC Air can lower the CMOS sensor temperature to 30-35 degrees Celsius below ambient temperature, which can greatly reduce dark current generation and sensor noise even during extended exposure times.
Low Read Noise, High Dynamic Range
The camera has a built-in HCG mode, which can effectively reduce readout noise at high gain and allow the camera to maintain the same high dynamic range as it does at low gain. When the gain is 252, the HCG mode is automatically turned on and the Dynamic range reaches a level close to 12bit. The readout noise is as low as 0.7e.
