ZWO EFW Electronic Filter Wheel
Seven Position, Uses 2" or 50.4 mm Unthreaded Filters

The ZWO EFW 7 X 2" is CNC machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, is only 20mm thick and weighs just 650g!  This electronic filter wheel accepts up to seven 2" threaded filters, which are sold separately.  If you use filters by manufacturers other than ZWO, remember that threaded 2" filters must be less than 7.5 mm in thickness (not including the threads) and less than 50.8 mm in diameter.  The thread itself must be less than 2.7 mm thick.  Alternately, you can use 50.4mm (+/-0.5mm) unthreaded filters if you like.

Inside the ZWO EFW-7X2 is a quality stepper motor made by NPM in Japan.  It is very reliable. The max power consumption of the EFW is about 120ma@5V, allowing you to connect it to the USB2.0 port found on ZWO cooled cameras.  Once connected, make sure to install the ASCOM driver. The USB Cable is included.  The wheel can be rotated either clockwise or counter clockwise for filter selection.

When connected to the ASI6200, the distance between the filters and the sensor is about 18 mm.  ZWO recommends the use of their 2" RGBL filters in conjunction with this filter wheel and the ASI6200MM Pro camera, as this combination will offer nearly 1:1:1 RGB color balance.
