This Telrad 4" Riser has a 4" height. It is made to raise your existing Telrad Finderscope higher than the standard base provides. There are some telescope configurations where it is desired to have your Telrad Finderscope at a higher location. This Riser base with 4" height is combined with an existing Telrad Mounting Base in order to enhance viewing by off-setting the sight from the main telescope tube.

It is made from black plastic material. It weighs only 186 g (6.56 oz).
