This 175 pound capacity pier-tripod combination is super simple to set up.Ā  It comes with a padded heavy duty carrying bag and mount adapters for compatible Skywatcher, Ā Takahashi, Rainbow Optics, Crux or scopes that use a 3/8 adapter. If you have an iOptron mount, you will need to purchase the optional mount adapter.

The legs of the trip-pier slide out and lock into position without any fuss.Ā  Ā Once deployed, leveling the pier is easy with the leveler feet, and it's ball-jointed pads making uneven surfaces easy to deal with.
