Sky Mentor 1.25" Variable Projection Camera Adapter with M42 Threads - VARPROJCA

Allows you to take photographs with your telescope using your DSLR or SLR 35mm camera body with the proper T-Adapter for your camera brand/model, such as EOS, Nikon, etc (sold separately).

Insert your 1.25” eyepiece into the  barrel to increase the effective magnification for high power imaging.  Larger bodied 1.25" eyepieces will be too big to fit into the barrel.  Eyepiece projection works best with Orthoscopic or Plossl eyepieces that allow you to remove the rubber eyeguard, if applicable.

Unthread the black barrel from the silver 1.25" insertion barrel if you want to do prime focus photography using "0" extra magnification.  This method uses only your telescope's focal length to provide magnification, and presents threads to accept an M42 T-adapter just like those on the end of the black barrel.

Variable projection allows you to "Zoom" to correct image size whether the you are photographic the lunar surface or a planet.
