This Meade LX85 German Equatorial Mount with AudioStar and Tripod has built-in motors (Low-cog 12 Volt DC servo motors both axes), for both Right Ascension and Declination axes drives. The assembled weight of both the mount head and the tripod is a mere 34.1 lb. The payload you can carry and operate with this mount is rated at 33 lb; that's almost the weight of the unloaded mount package!
