Add an internal double-stacking module to a Lunt LS80THa solar telescope for a lowered bandpass of <0.5 Angstroms! Owner can install this module themselves, or it can be installed at the factory. This internal Double-Stacking Module is compatible with the LS80MT and the LS100MT Modular scopes, as well as the existing LS80THaPT.

The best views of the Sun are undoubtedly seen through a dual etalon system like the Lunt 60mm DoubleStack H-Alpha Telescope. The reduction in bandwidth from an estimated 0.75 Angstrom to <0.5 Angstrom just seem to bring the Sun''s surface to life, and increases the details you will be able to resolve in the H-alpha events on the Sun.

The Lunt LS80THa can be internally Double-stacked at the time of purchase or anytime thereafter. Furthermore, the LS80THa does not need to be returned to the factory for Double-stacking.

You can purchase the LS80Tha single stack solar telescope initially and add the DSII to make it a Double Stack unit later. This will make it more affordable to purchase our most popular solar telescope and still have room for upgrades. Once you upgrade your Lunt LS80THa with the DSII, you will be able to see the finer details not previously visible. NOTE: This product is just the internal Double Stack Module by itself. No telescope is included with this.
