This Antares Focal Reducer - 1.25" - 0.5x - 25 mm (Multicoated) can be used either visually or photographically to decrease focal length and increase true field at the expense of some vignetting (dimming) at the edge of the field. The reduction depends on the spacing of the reducing lens between the objective and the image plane. This will vary depending upon the telescope used and the camera and accessories used, therefore the exact reduction factor is not a constant. Antares FR1 is a fully multicoated 25/95 mm achromat and fits standard 1.25" filter threads.
