This is an Antares 1.25" Laser Collimator for aligning your reflector telescope optics. It provides a 7-step, adjustable variable-intensity laser output beam for convenience of viewing when doing alignment. Align your reflector telescope optics with this convenient, precision laser collimator tool. For best performance and results, this tool is set up in the factory on a lathe, to set its own internal collimation perfectly, so it will give you true results.
This Antares 1.25" Laser Collimator tool is a must have if you own any reflector telescope, such as a Newtonian, or Dobsonian with a Newtonian scope on the Dob mounting, etc. It is also a must-have if you own a telescope with aspheric system optics to get perfect collimation every time. It provides a side viewing window so you can see the returned laser beam spot easily on the reticle pattern which is provided, so you can adjust the collimation of the primary mirror.
