EFW 7x2 Filter Compatibility
The ZWO 7x2 Electronic Filter Wheel supports 2" mounted filters with a thickness of ā¤7mm, or 50mm unmounted filters with a thickness of between 1.5 mm & 3.5 mm. There are 7 slots available. The weight of the 7x2 EFW is 720 g and has a effective thickness of 20 mm.

Power & Connectivity

The new ZWO EFW features a motorized, bidirectional filter-wheel drive with precise position indexing. When paired with control software such as ASIAIR (sold separately), it enables automatic filter changes during a scheduled imaging session ā enabling fully unattended, hands-free astrophotography.
