Accepts 2" Mounted Filters

Enjoy wide field imaging even more by introducing a 2" filter into the imaging train between a cooled ASI camera and your favorite Nikon lens!  

Please note that the included M54M-M42F adapter can be used when attaching the Nikon Filter Drawer onto ZWO full-frame cameras, but is not necessary when connecting to standard cameras.

The FD-NIKON Filter Drawer is compatible with all ASI camera that have a 17.5 back focus, except the ASI GT series cameras.  The drawer opens to accept 2" filters, and has been tested with the ZWO brand. If you use filters by manufacturers other than ZWO, remember that threaded 2" filters must be less than 7.5 mm in thickness (not including the threads) and less than 50.8 mm in diameter.  The thread itself must be less than 2.7 mm thick.

Double strong magnetic absorption makes it easier to install or remove the filter drawer.
