ZWO 0.76X Full Frame Reducer for FF80 APO Refractor - F80RE

The ZWO 3" 0.76× Full Frame Reducer is designed specifically for the FF80 APO refractor.  It has a reduction factor of 0.76X, which shortens the effective focal ratio to f/5.7 for a wider field of view and shorter image acquisition times.  The reducer has a three-element optical design with one extra-low dispersion (ED) element and will work with full frame cameras.

The back focus distance is the standard 55mm. The reducer connects to the refractor by taking the place of the four-segment camera extension tube that comes with the FF80.  It comes with a built-in M48x0.75 2” filter thread.

Connection steps

1. Prepare the FF80 APO telescope tube and the focal reducer.
2. Unscrew the four-segment extension tube at the end of the FF80 APO telescope tube.  Place somewhere safe.
3. Unscrew the end cap of the 0.76X reducer.
4. Insert the reducer into the focuser and tighten.
