This is the William Optics 1.25" RotoLock Eyepiece Adapter. This WO adapter is made to accept the industry-standard 1.25" diameter eyepieces and other accessories of the same size.

You only need to rotate the adapter ring clockwise to lock any inserted accessory, or counter-clockwise to release the accessory. Innovative design ensures that you get a very solid hold and the accessory or eyepiece will also be perfectly centered every time. You will never have to bother with thumbscrews or worry about losing those in the dark! The internal ball bearings and detents make this adapter a joy to use.
