Zero Optical Obstruction

With an outer diameter of only 114mm, the Wanderer FilterCube introduces zero optical obstruction when installed on RASA 11/36 systems. It’s not just the magic of space efficiency — it’s a showcase of WandererAstro’s uncompromising industrial design philosophy.

Please Note: HyperStars are NOT supported!

Compatible with Most Cameras

With an optical thickness of 60.3mm, the Wanderer FilterCube meets the back focus requirements of the RASA 11 when used with cameras featuring a 12.5mm back focus without any additional adapters. For RASA 36 systems, the Wanderer FilterCube supports cameras with a back focus less than 17.5mm requiring additional adapters from WandererAstro, including Moravian C1x cameras.

Built-in CAA & Tilt Adjuster

Integrated manual CAA and a 3-point rear tilt adjuster make operation simpler. A unique access-slot design also allows collimation when FilterCube is installed. Professional means thinking through every detail — with no compromises.

Anti-Reflection Design

After countless rounds of testing and real-world imaging, we engineered the FilterCube with optimized mechanical dimensions and extensive anti-reflection measures to minimize common RASA imaging issues such as ghosting, rainbow artifacts, strange halos, and flat frames calibration problems.

Lightweight and Rigid

Constructed from robust aluminum alloy with partial carbon fiber components, the Wanderer FilterCube weighs only 385g while maintaining exceptional rigidity and durability.

Multiple ASCOM Connections
You can connect multiple Wanderer FilterCubes to a single PC and control each device independently. This is especially useful for sky survey systems and users running multiple RASA telescopes simultaneously.
