The StarField High Speed Ultra Thin Motorized 5-Position 1.25" Filter Wheel is only 19 mm thick and weighs just 8.7 ounces, or 248 grams! Due to its diminutive size, this StarField filter wheel only adds 19 mm of back focus when used with StarField adapters.
Because this is the High Speed version, the StarField FW5125V4HS achieves carousel rotation speeds that are more than 5 times faster than the FW5125V4. The filter wheel is USB controlled and powered with an ASCOM driver, so no addition power supply is required.
The included filter carousel is designed to hold five threaded M28.5 x 0.6 filters (sold separately). The maximum filter cell height that can be accommodated is 11 mm with a thread length of no more than 4 mm.
