The SkyPilot 127 is the best combination of visual and imaging currently available for astronomers, out of the box. It features a 127mm Maksutov-Cassegrain optic paired with the smart MirroSky intelligent astro system. The included 53mm ED refractor with the intelligent camera can be used as your finder / guide scope or your imaging optics. It can assist users in locating celestial objects quickly and conveniently, and it is controlled using the MirroSky app. Its 53mm ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) optical guide scope system with built-in smart technology can navigate the night sky and point the telescope to your target, all without any user star alignment. This innovative astro system also serves as an imaging camera powered by the popular Sony IMX662 CMOS sensor. Specializing in astrophotography, this smart technology system automatically takes and processes short exposure images of your night sky object, aligning and stacking them instantly to produce a detailed photograph of your deep sky object.

What is the MirroSky Intelligent Astrosystem?

The MirroSky, through its app, uses platesolving technology, allowing the MirroSky camera to know the location it is pointing on a celestial map, at any time and from any location. This amazing platesolving technology eliminates the need to manually calibrate and align the telescope to the night sky. No need to point and align at a guide or reference star. Database of 100,000 which includes: Tonights attractions, Messier, NGC, solar system etc.

Use your smartphone or tablet to operate this system, no hand control needed. Because it uses the MirroSky App, there's no need for a GPS receiver to determine the time, date, and location.
