This is the Sky-Watcher EQ (Equatorial) Latitude Base for the Star Adventurer Mount. It is also frequently referred to as an "Equatorial Wedge". It allows you to adjust the angle of the Star Adventurer mount for your own particular latitude. It also provides a limited adjustment (range) for azimuth, to account for the location of your local meridian.

This Star Adventurer EQ Latitude Base is one of the components which is included in the Star Adventurer Pro Pack, S20512, if you were to purchase that item. This product as an accessory allows you to do Equatorial tracking, when the equipment has been properly aligned.
