A green filter can be useful when observing Venus.  For daytime observing, it will help reduce the brightness of this "runaway greenhouse effect" planet.  This is a good time to observe Venus, as the daytime sky provides less contrast and makes observing this super bright planet a little more comfortable.

A green filter enhances details in the atmosphere of Saturn.

While the Great Red Spot...a famously huge storm on Jupiter...isn't nearly as big as it used to be, you can check it out by increasing its visibility with a green filter.  While you are checking out Jupiter, that same green filter will enhance contrast of red, blue and white features in the atmosphere.
