The hinged ring system separates easily by loosening the over-sized metal thumbscrews, and locks securely back into place once the OTA has been nestled inside the rings. Each extruded aluminum ring set is topped with a slotted carry handle so that it is easy to move your telescope around when it is off the mount. Attach a camera, guidescope, or other accessory to the top of the handle with standard 1/4-20 bolts.
