The original Japan-made Meade Ultra Wide Angle 14mm — the eyepiece that earned the Series 4000 UWA line its cult following. 84° apparent field of view in a dual 1.25"/2" barrel, fully multi-coated, with a fold-down rubber eyecup. This is the early Japanese production, not the later Chinese-built Series 5000 replacement, and it's the one collectors and Nagler Type 1 owners still hunt for.

At 14mm it sits in the sweet spot for medium-power deep sky work in an SCT or a fast Newtonian: wide enough to frame open clusters and larger nebulae, sharp enough on-axis for globulars and planetary nebulae. Fits any 2" focuser or diagonal directly, or any 1.25" focuser via the built-in nosepiece.
