iOptron SkyHunter Compact Dual GoTo Mount -with tripod Alt-Az Package - SHAZ

Meet the SkyHunter,  the lightest and most compact full function portable goto mount yet created by iOptron. Weighing in at only 2.9 lb. (including internal rechargeable battery), the SkyHunter is capable of supporting an 11 lb. payload in both equatorial and alt-azimuth modes. 

The iOptron SkyHunter mount features four tracking rates: 1X or sidereal, 1/2X for sky and landscape combined, solar and lunar.  All 4 tracking rates work in both northern and southern hemispheres.

The iOptron SkyHunter mount can be controlled by an iOS or Android SmartPhone or tablet, the optional 8410 hand controller, or a computer via ASCOM, INDI or embedded drive.

This version of the SkyHunter is for alt-azimuth use.  It comes with the SkyHunter AZ head, counterweight, the iOptron 3221 tripod and the 8041 pier extension.  While you can use a tripod with the appropriate head to set up the SkyHunter equatorially, this version does not come with the SkyHunter EQ Base.  For versions that do include the EQ Base, see the SHEQ and the SHEQA with iPolar.
