This heavy duty dual-threaded 2" adapter is designed to attach the Founder Optics field flattener to telescopes with a 2" focuser.  

When doing astrophotography it is important to keep the optical chain as tight and aligned as possible.  This adapter uses threads instead of screws or tension adapters for the mechanical connection, which reduces the possibility of a gap or flexing in your optical chain.  Paying attention to the quality of your adapters will help assure you achieve the best shot possible.

Before you buy this adapter, make sure the 2" barrels on any flatteners or reducers are removable.  

Once you have attached your adapter ring, make sure the camera is positioned correctly since this product is a two-piece unit.
