The Explore Scientific Hybrid Finder Scope Base is designed to accept all legacy Explore Scientific finder scope brackets and also any mini-dovetail-type (e.g. Vixen, Synta, and Celestron) finder scope brackets from other manufacturers. The base has rugged all-metal parts with black-anodized base and chrome-plated metal screws. Safety stops prevent the finder scope from sliding through to prevent accidental drops of a finder when attaching screws are loosened. This product is easy to assemble to your existing OTA and very easy to use.

This Hybrid Finder Scope Base from Explore Scientific has threaded holes on the left and right sides of the Base for desired access to attaching screws. Includes bolts and screws for mounting the product to your existing optical tube assembly (OTA).

This Explore Scientific Hybrid Finder Scope Base is a direct replacement for all Explore Scientific telescopes, allowing the use of a wide range of other-brand finder scope options. Use other models or brands of finders with your Explore Scientific telescope OTA. Includes attachment instructions. NOTE: This product includes a Hybrid Base only; it does NOT include a Finderscope.
