The Explore Scientific Backpack Carrying Case is designed specifically with amateur astronomers in mind. This backpack is a great easy way for astronomers to transport a (small) ES-102 telescope and accessories to places not easily accessible by vehicle – whether a few yards off the road or miles away. If you need to carry that small refractor telescope, etc. to your next observing site with ease and comfort, use this convenient Explore Scientific Backpack Carrying Case.

Exterior straps are perfect for attaching a small tripod to carry it more easily, while the outside mesh pocket easily holds a water bottle or other incidentals. A zippered outside pocket and a mesh inside pocket are ideal for a Wil Tirion Planisphere, observing logs, and other small personal items you use with your astronomical observing.

The internal space – which is 18" tall (46 cm) and 15" wide (38 cm) contains robust hook-and-loop panels for easy customization. You can adjust the space arrangement to suit your personal needs. The space is large enough to hold an Explore Scientific 102 Essential Series or FCD100 Series telescope (with the focuser removed).

Note: This Backpack Carrying Case is identical to the model ES-BPCC-01 case except for one different feature. For this product, there are three (3) Thumb screws provided, instead of Allen set screws, and these are used inside the case to hold the focuser for a ES-102 telescope in place. The rugged nylon shelf and generous padding is designed to protect your telescope and accessories.
