This is a Celestron 9.25" SCT Dovetail Plate Kit, a narrow version of the CGE dovetail bar. This Dovetail Plate Kit from Celestron lets you replace the wider CGE dovetail bar found on most Celestron 9.25" Schmidt-Cassegrain and 9.25" EdgeHD optical tubes with a narrow dovetail. This dovetail then will allow them to be used on mounts that require the narrower CG-5 dovetail bars, such as the Advanced VX mount.
