Here is the situation. Something new arrives, and pre-orders open Tuesday, August 25 at 14:00 UTC — that is 10:00 AM here in Toronto. We have seen it. The full details are sitting on the desk in front of us right now. And we have signed a piece of paper that says we cannot show you a single specification, a single full photo, or a single price until that clock runs out.

So this is the least informative page we have ever built. We are aware. Sorry about that. The poster above is the one image we are cleared to publish — a lens, a date, and a sentence. That is the entire permitted vocabulary until Tuesday.

What we can say: this is not a minor refresh of something already sitting in your case. The first wave coming into Canada is not enormous. And at 14:00 UTC on Tuesday the embargo lifts, the page goes live, pre-orders open, and the line forms.

You can be at the front of that line. It costs nothing.

When Tuesday Comes, Here Is How You Can Pay for It

Financing. We offer financing through RBC PayPlan and Affirm.

Trade-ins. We accept trade-ins. If there is something in the case you have stopped reaching for, it can go toward this.

Deposits. You do not have to pay in full to place a firm order. Put a deposit down through our product deposit system and you lock in both your place in the inventory and the current price.
