Meadeâs LightSwitch (LS) 8" ACF⢠telescope. This award-winning 8" f/10 (2032mm focal length) powerhouse telescope is feature packed. Meade's patented automatic self-alignment system aligns with just one touch of the power switch. Just flip the switch and walk away. It aligns itself. Itâs that simple.
The Advanced-Coma Free (ACFâ˘) design reduces astigmatism and eliminates diffraction spikes. This ACF⢠telescope also delivers coma-free pinpoint star images and flatter image fields, giving you razor sharp detail on the edge of your view.
The included AutoStar III GoTo handbox has a 100,000+ object library and guided tour functions. Continuing, the Meade ECLIPS colour CCD camera (640x480 resolution) allows you to capture images of your favourite celestial wonders and display them in real time on an external monitor (product code: 07700, sold separately) - or, store the photos on a SD card (sold separately) so you can partake in CCD imaging your very first night out.
