This is the same silver plate used in the ZWO TC40 Tripod.  It is being offered here separately in case you need to replace yours, or, more likely, you have more than one mount you'd like to use on the TC40 and want the ability to leave the plate in place when swapping one for the other on the same TC40 tripod.
