Description

The ZWO 3" 0.7× Full Frame Reducer is designed specifically for the FF107 and FF130 APO refractors.  It has a reduction factor of 0.7X, which shortens the effective focal ratio to f/4.9 for a wider field of view and shorter image acquisition times.  The reducer has a three-element optical design with one extra-low dispersion (ED) element and will work with full frame cameras.

The back focus distance is the standard 55mm.  It comes with a M68, M54 & M48 threaded adapter and is designed to accept 2" filters.

Connection steps

  1. Prepare the telescope tube and the focal reducer.
  2. Unscrew the M86 to 2" adapter at the end of the FF-107 or FF-130 APO telescope tube.  Place somewhere safe.
  3. Unscrew the end cap of the 0.7X reducer.
  4. Insert the reducer into the focuser and tighten.
