Wanderer Astro Eclipse Motorized Dust Cover - 425 mm Diameter

If you would like to protect your telescope OTA against dust, pollen, and cobwebs, Wanderer Astro has the solution! 

First of all, the Wanderer Eclipse motorized dust cover is made of aerospace-grade aluminum alloy carbon fiber, making it super tough but super light at the same time!   It is available in a variety of diameters - from 110 mm to 425 mm.  This range should cover some camera lenses as well as telescopes up to 14".  The diameter you are contemplating purchasing here is 425 mm.

The Eclipse can be opened to more than 270 degrees and automatically stops when encountering obstacles at any position.  The low temperature resistant design allows the Wanderer Eclipse to work in environments with temps as low as -25ºC, or -13F.  

The electronics box is tough and sturdy, as are the metal arms and threaded connections.  There are M3 threaded holes on the bottom of the box for convenient installation.

If you have a ZWO ASIAIR Plus or ToupTek StellaVita, the latest firmware supports control of the DC switch via these devices.  

Accessories are available to mount the Wanderer Eclipse to a telescope that uses a Losmandy style dovetail plate (Losmandy Dovetail Bracket Kit (short or long).  There is also a Vixen Bracket Kit available as well as an installation kit to mount the Eclipse to a truss style telescope.  All of these accessories are available separately.
