The Spectrum Optical MirroSky HX35 mount, equipped with the easy-to-use MirroSky intelligent astronomical system, can assist users in capturing celestial objects quickly and conveniently using the MirroSky app. In addition to its smart features, The HX35 comes with an astrophotography friendly harmonic drive system, capable of reduced PE (Periodic Error), giving you fantastic imaging results without putting a strain on its drive system.  

The HX35 is a convertible AZ/EQ mount capable of handling up to 30 pounds with an optional counterweight.  The drive system has a Strain Wave gear drive + synchronous belt.  It includes an ST4 guide port and is ASCOM compatible.  

This HX35 Harmonic Drive package comes with a 53mm ED (Extra Low Dispersion) optical guide scope with built-in smart technology  that can navigate the night sky and point the telescope to your target, either in alt-azimuth or equatorial mode. This innovative guide scope also serves as an imaging camera powered by a Sony IMX662 2.4mp 1/2.8 CMOS sensor.  Its smart technology can capture long and short exposure so that you can choose even faint objects to produce breathtaking deep-sky images.

What is the MirroSky Intelligent Astrosystem?

The MirroSky, through its app,  uses platesolving technology, allowing the MirroSky camera to know the location it is pointing on a celestial map, at any time and from any location. This amazing platesolving technology eliminates the need to manually calibrate and align the telescope to the night sky. No need to point and align at a guide or reference star. Database of 100,000 which includes: Tonights attractions, Messier, NGC, solar system etc.

Use your smartphone or tablet to operate this system, no hand control needed. Because it uses the MirroSky App, there's no need for a GPS receiver to determine the time date and location.
