This adapter is designed for connecting QHY planetary cameras (mono) and QHYCFW3S (SR or US version), so that you can use a mono planetary cam with 1.25 inch or 31mm filters. The image below shows just such an arrangement. You can see the CFW Adapter connecting the two devices, which are, of course, sold separately.
