The iOptron HST MiniTracker is the optimal tracking solution for the on the go imager!


The iOptron HST MiniTracker is small enough to rest in your palm, yet capable of carrying up to 9 pounds of imaging gear. Perfect for tracking with your DSLR, this little powerhouse is the ultimate portable camera sky tracking device. 

Weighing only 1.75 pounds, this SWG (strain wave gear) mini imaging tool features 4 tracking rates: sidereal for stars and deep space, lunar for the moon, solar for the sun, and œ rate for imaging the Milky Way with terrestrial objects in the foreground.

The HST MiniTracker's DC stepper motor and SWG drive train operate silently as it precisely tracks the target subject(s). The metal CNC machined body is not only appealing to the eye, it's rugged enough to take on any outdoor adventure.

The HST has a Vixen-style dovetail that slides into the optional AZ base, or it can mount directly to a tripod by a 3/8"-16 or 1/4"-20 post. The MiniTracker can be powered in several ways; by an internal rechargeable Li-Poly battery, three AAA household batteries, or an external 5 volt power bank, giving the user flexibility to choose what best fits the assignment. There is a side bracket that can either hold an optional AccuAlignTM polar scope, or you can use the optional iPolar with it's "peek hold" for basic alignment.
