Encoderless Pointing and Push-To

The PiFinder takes photos of the sky and uses them to determine exactly where your telescope is pointing with no setup or user intervention… up to 20 times a second! Between exposures a sophisticated accelerometer provides real-time updates to drive on-board star chart generation and easy push-to guidance. Installs like a finder, performs better than digital setting circles!

A Self-Contained Observing Tool

Everything you need, right at the eyepiece! The PiFinder will determine where your scope is pointed as you move around the sky and display an interactive star-chart centered on its position. You can search and filter a catalog of nearly 150,000 objects and see how each one will look through the eyepiece. Once you've found a target the PiFinder guides you with easy push-to guidance… it can even log your observations.
