This "three in the front and four in the back" high quality 50 mm astrograph lens from Askar can support your imaging ambitions as well as perform nicely as a finder, guider, or for visual use. The FMA230 includes an APO triplet lens system...two of which is made of ED glass! This allows for sharp images as well as contributing to greatly reduce chromatic aberration.
The removable 0.84x reducer contains four elements and is located at the rear of the lens. It takes the base focal length of the FMA230 from 275 mm to 230 mm, and the f/ratio is lowered to f/4.6 from f.5.5.
The Askar FMA230 has male M42x0.75 male threads on the rear of the lens that will work for most astronomy cameras as well as DSLR's with the manufacturer-specific adapter (sold separately). Back focus is 55 mm. A 2" adapter allows for the insertion of eyepieces and other barrel-type accessories.
The FMA230 comes with some nice accessories. You will receive a tube ring, handle with slot for finders, etc., Vixen-style dovetail plate, and, as mentioned above, a 2" receptacle that will accept 2" barreled accessories. A 1.25" adapter is not included, but recommended for 1.25" barreled accessories such as eyepieces, diagonals, etc.
