Designed for deep-sky imaging of emission nebulae with a color camera, the Askar Colour Magic D1 Super Duo-Band Filter permits H-alpha and Oxygen III wavelengths through while blocking those that contribute to light pollution.  

This Colour Magic Super D1 2" Duo-Band filter has a narrow bandwidth of 6nm. Therefore, even if your are in an area affected by the urban light pollution, night glow or other undesired light, you can capture high-quality deep-sky images. The narrower bandwidth and efficient light transmission considerably enhance the contrast of your pictures, making it easier to display the details of the stars that otherwise are fairly difficult to spot.

Although they are not specifically high speed filters, the Super D1 Duo-narrowband filter behaves well when used with a fast telescope, even at f/1.9.
