The Askar 52mm F4 Guide Scope is lightweight, compact, and stable. The large aperture is 164% larger than that of the Askar 32mm F4 guide scope, with the substantial increase of light the limiting magnitude can reach 10.4. The optical design of the doublet objective lens, as well as the precise X&Y-axis fine adjustment, gives this 52mm f/4 guidescope great accuracy and stability while the OTA weighs in at only 0.63kg.  

This model has a black finish, or, for the same price, you can choose silver.  Regardless of the color you choose, each one comes with a mounting ring with a Vixen style base. The base itself has both a 1/4" and an M4 threaded hole to make mounting the Guide Scope.  You can also use a Vixen-style dovetail for easy, adjustable mounting (sold separately).

The Askar 52mm F4 guide scope pulls in enough light to use for visual observations as well as guiding.  The integrated helical focuser is easily adjusted by manually turning the knurled ring.

The guide scope comes with an 1.25" and M42 adapter so that you can attach a variety of accessories to the rear of the scope, including a astronomy camera with a 1.25" or M42 mounting method.
