Askar 1X Full Frame Flattener for 185APO - 185APO-FLAT

The Askar 185APO 1.0x flattener corrects for field curvature and coma, resulting in flatter field edges and finer star points.  It does not change the telescope's focal length; if you would like a faster system, we recommend the 0.8X Focal Reducer, which is sold separately.  Both pieces are made expressly for the 185APO triplet refractor.

The 1.0x flattener sports triplet optics and supports a 44mm full-frame image circle. The overall weight is 0.79kg. The back focus from the M48 thread is a standard 55mm. The front thread is M92*1.

At the camera end, the Askar 1X 185APO Flattener is equipped with M68*1, M54*0.75, and M48*0.75 adapters. The M48*0.75 adapter has built-in 2-inch filter threads. Both ends come with a CNC machined metal cover to protect your optics.
