Khan Scope Centre (KSC) Return Policy (For Shipped Goods Only)

Khan Scope Centre (KSC)  wants you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item(s) for a full refund, less shipping and handling fees. a 25% restocking fee will also apply.
Please read the details below for more information. 

All  goods  $500 and over  are excluded from this return offer, including custom or special order. 

Items. DVDS, books, Software Used and Sale items  are all final sale and non-returnable.

Order cancellations:  Order cancellations  within 24 hours are fully refundable. Orders cancelled after 24  hours may be subject to a 25% cancellation  fee .
This includes orders that may have longer than normal delivery times.  
All Special order, clearance or Used and Sale items, are considered final sale and not refundable or returnable. 

Risk of loss and title for items purchased from Khan Scope and Accessories, , and its affiliations, pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier or, if such items must cross an international border, then risk of loss and title pass to you when they clear customs in Canada.

Please note that orders being shipped outside of Canada may be subject to import fees/duties  which are solely the purchasers responsibility.

Section 1 - Standard Return

KSC customers may return merchandise purchased from KSC up to Seven (7) after receipt of merchandise for a refund of the purchase price. A  refund, less a 25% restocking fee  will be given provided the product is returned unopened  in new condition, complete in its original packaging, with all warranty cards, accessories, manuals, etc. included. Shipping charges will not be refunded unless the return is a result of an KSC error .

Some of the products we sell may have qualified for free-shipping with purchase.  In instances where these products are being returned, the costs paid by Khan Scope Centre  during original delivery will be deducted from the credit and/or refund resulting from the return.  In addition to this  Khan Scope Centre  is not responsible for the costs of return shipment to our facilities.   

If you wish to return merchandise for a refund or exchange, it is required that you  e-mail KSC  to obtain an RGA number (Return Goods Authorization) beforehand. Returns without an RGA number will not be accepted. This RGA number must be located on the shipping label. DO NOT write or affix the RGA number  on the product or its internal or external boxes! It is the customer's responsibility to make sure the merchandise is securely packaged and insured for the full purchase price. KSC will not be held responsible for lost or damaged packages. 

Returns will be processed by KSC as quickly as possible. Please allow 7-10 business days from KSC receipt of your package for credit card refunds and Paypal, and up to thirty (30) days after original date of purchase if you paid by bank draft, wire  or any other method of payment.

When the product is received and inspected, KSC   will contact you via phone or email to confirm receipt of the item.   Upon inspection, if there are any issues or questions regarding the condition of the returned product we will notify you at that time.

Any merchandise that does not arrive in new condition will be subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee. Missing parts, packaging, instructions, warranty cards, etc., as well as damage or other detrimental effects to merchandise, will result in higher restocking fees. Restocking fees will be determined by KSC  after inspecting the merchandise.

 

To avoid damage to the manufacturer’s original, labeled packaging (which will affect credit/refund value), customers must outer-box the merchandise they are returning to KSC.  Please do not write, place labels or stickers on the manufacturer’s original packaging.  If the product was not outer-boxed by KSC   when shipping to you, as is sometimes the case with larger merchandise, this requirement does not apply; but in this case, please do not write upon or otherwise mark the original packaging, other than with the return-shipping label.

Returns will not be accepted after 7  days without prior approval from KSC management. KSC will work with customers who have special circumstances, , but reserves the right to refuse returns after seven (7)  days has elapsed.

We do not refund shipping/Freight charges on the original order.

Section 2 - KSC Shipping Error 

In the event that you receive the wrong item(s) from KSC, please contact us  e-mail and obtain an RGA number. You will reimbursed for the return cost and  We will ship the correct item(s) to you at no additional cost.  

Section 3 - Product Damaged in Shipment 

Customers should always inspect packages and their contents as soon as possible after delivery. If there are any shipping damages, the customer must report the damage immediately to the carrier of the package (UPS, Canada post, etc.). The carrier will arrange to inspect the package and return the box and its contents to KSC. We require that you notify us within 24 hours of receipt of goods for any missing items.

Customers should NEVER send damaged merchandise directly back to KSC  or elsewhere . If this happens, KSC  will not be able to collect insurance on the damaged goods and KSC  will not accept the returned merchandise. We  always do our utmost to replace damaged goods as quickly as possible, but the customer must follow the proper procedures to receive the replacement merchandise at no charge.

 

Section 4 - Defective Merchandise

If you receive an item you believe to be defective, please contact KSC  via  e-mail and we will discuss the problem with you. . Defective products are under the domain of the manufacturer, KSC will provide assistance and support in dealing with the manufacturer . The various manufacturers have different methods of handling defective products, but legally they are required to repair or replace the item .  

The above policies  applies to all  orders placed online .  Policies for our retail store   may differ.  You agree to all these terms and conditions when placing an order with KSC whether online, curbside pickup or at our retail store at 3243 Dufferin St, Toronto. 

 

Note: Surcharges for shipments to  NWT,  Nunavut and Yukon Territories and other remote areas may apply. 

Surcharges may also apply to some heavy and bulky items to some addresses; You will be notified of any additional freight charges should this be the case and may decline if you wish.

We do our best to keep item listings up to date, please bear in mind  manufacturer's continually  
make product and specification changes, and product improvements on
an ongoing basis.

We reserve the right to refuse/cancel  any and all  order(s) at our discretion.
Any errors that may occur in the processing of your order will be advised, including e-commerce errors or pricing errors.

If you not willing to accept those changes, then we will cancel and refund your order.

We reserve  the right to limit quantities. 

 Curbside Pick-up/Retail Store  Orders Terms and Conditions

Used items: Final Sale.  No return, no exchange.

No Refunds are given for any other purchases that are purchased via curb-side pickup or at our retail store.

An item may be returned, at our discretion new and unopened within 7 days, in which case 
a 25% restocking fee will apply.

You agree to the terms listed above if you make a purchase online or in our retail store.

All new items are covered under manufacturers warranties if applicable. 

Retail store policies may differ from online terms and conditions 

All shipping, with the some exceptions , is directly from our inventory or warehouses at Khan Scope Centre.

Cut Off Time

Orders placed before noon EST are typically processed the same day, though some exceptions may apply. Shipping occurs on non-holiday weekdays, Monday to Friday.

Shipping within Canada:

All shipping charges are estimated either from the cart or at the time of purchase. These estimates consider the shipping destination, the number of boxes needed, their weight, and size. Please note, any delivery time estimates are just that – estimates. They do not represent a guaranteed or promised delivery time. Khan Scope Centre cannot guarantee delivery times for any shipment once it has left our warehouse. Khan Scope Centre will generally use the selected shipping method but reserves the right to alter shipping methods as necessary to complete the order. Should there be any changes to shipping costs, we will communicate these to the customer and require their approval before finalizing the order.

Free Shipping in Canada

Our free shipping offers are always up for review. Large packages or shipments to remote locations may require additional  review before order approval. In cases where charges are necessary, Khan Scope Centre will discuss these changes with the customer prior to processing the order. When utilizing free shipping, Khan Scope Centre reserves the right to select the courier service we find most suitable to your location.

Khan Scope Centre is Pleased to partner with Canpar, Canada Post, Fedex and UPS as our primary shipping providers.

Shipping to the USA and Other International Destinations:

All shipping charges for international orders are estimated from the cart or at the time of purchase. These estimates take into account the destination, as well as the number, weight, and size of the boxes required. As with domestic shipping, any delivery time estimates are just that – estimates, and do not represent a guaranteed or promised delivery time. Khan Scope Centre cannot guarantee delivery times for any shipment after it has left our warehouse. While we aim to use the selected shipping method, we reserve the right to change shipping methods as necessary to complete the order. Any additional shipping costs will be communicated to the customer, and their approval will be required before finalizing the order.
