The New MallinCam SkyRaider SLP Solar, Lunar, & Planetary Camera is ideal for video observation of Solar features, the Moon, and/or the Planets with your existing telescope! Small pixels and binning capability add to the features it offers.
Small pixel size combined with the innovative MallinCam Sky software make this MallinCam SkyRaider SLP Solar, Lunar, & Planetary Camera a powerful tool for solar-lunar-planetary viewing and imaging. The New SkyRaider-SLP has been designed for live viewing and imaging of Solar details, Lunar surface, & Planets. Part of the SkyRaider series of USB type cameras, the New SkyRaider SLP has a 3MP sCMOS (Super-CMOS) sensor with pixel size of 2.5 x 2.5um capable of binning modes of 2048 X 1536, 1024 X 768, 684 X 512 in full color. A monochrome mode is also included (in the software).
The new MallinCam SkyRaider-SLP Solar, Lunar, & Planetary Camera uses the same software of all other SkyRaider Series cameras. A 5meter (15 feet) USB cable is included, sealed sensor chamber, incorporates passive cooling, and attractive stainless steel front mount to keep the sensor alignment with the optical train and make this camera built to last. There is no other camera designed and built for Solar, Lunar, and/or Planetary observation like the new MallinCam SkyRaider-SLP.
