This Luna Optics Laser Infrared Illuminator with Screw Adapter model LN-ELIR-2 is now updated with new LEDs at 785 nm, and is built from thermoplastic materials. This construction is actually lighter yet stronger than aluminum. It produces 0.5 mW (Class-I) of eye-safe output power in one of the most compact and lightweight LED IR illuminators which are now available anywhere. This easy to operate IR illuminator has many additional features.

The IR Illuminator uses dual power controls which allow you to make smooth adjustments to the brightness and output power. You can leave the brightness adjustment wheel at any desired level and use the separate on/off power switch to turn the unit on or off. It will turn on to the preset brightness level. A low-power LED indicator light shows you when the laser is actually working, but allows you to remain covert.

The Laser Infrared Illuminator with Screw Adapter mounting from Luna Optics is also the most versatile IR illuminator. This model features a fully adjustable Infrared beam with three separate beam characteristic adjustments: The beam output power is smoothly variable up to 0.5 mW (Class-I) (maximum). The width of the beam illumination is adjustable from 0.1° - 5°. And the axial position of the beam is adjustable to ensure that the beam intensity is exactly in the center of the field of view of your night vision device!

This model of IR Illuminator (LN-ELIR-2) is made to attach via a tripod screw connector. It also is compatible with the G2, G3, or any standard 1/4" Tripod Mounts. It weighs only 75 g (2.6 oz) without bracket, and has dimensions of 122 mm x 24 mm x 31 mm (4.8” x 0.9” x 1.2”), being small and compact, easy to carry and light weight when in use with your night vision equipment. It is powered by one 3V Lithium CR123 type Battery.
