About the Bob''s Knobs Celestron 6" (15mm) SCT Secondary...

Collimate your Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope or Newtonian Reflector Telescope without tools when you use Bob''s Knobs!

It'''s easy... just grab a Bob''s Knob Collimation Thumbscrew and turn. You can even do it while looking through the eyepiece on most scopes. And you''ll never drop that pesky little Allen wrench or screwdriver into the grass again. Installation is a snap with the included instructions, and you can undo the modification at any time.

Note: The factory dust cover will usually fit properly with Bob'''s Knobs installed. However, some very early versions of this design have very little clearance between the factory dust cover and the secondary housing. To make room for the knobs, contact us for a free set of spacers that attach to the ring around the corrector plate to move the dust cover slightly away from the secondary assembly. These spacers are not needed for most versions of this telescope.

All versions of the Celestron C6 SCT have collimation screws with metric threads.
