This is the little bino-viewer that could!
A long time ago bino-viewers were expensive and hard to use. But then things changed; a new generation of affordable bino-viewers has appeared on the scene, and the best deal available is the new Sky Mentor Bino-viewer.
The William Optics bino-viewer comes with a couple of eyepieces. The Celestron Bino-Viewer comes in an aluminum case. The Sky Mentor has a hundred percent of the optical quality of both of these predecessors, with the best price on the block: only $199!
This bino-viewer fits 1.25-inch eyepieces. Eyepieces are held in place by set-screws. The optics are fully-multicoated BAK-4 prisms. The barrel is threaded for filters. The interpupillary is adjustable between 5 cm and 7.5 cm. Both eyepiece-holders have diopter offsets. The field stop on the prisms is 19mm: 2mm wider than on the Celestron bino-viewers!
This unit is appropriate for use with any long-focus telescopes, and with (optional) focal extenders it can be used on short-focus telescopes as well!
