The Antares 10 mm Illuminated Reticle Eyepiece is a higher magnification reticle eyepiece which may be used on all Antares Illuminated Finderscopes. It has a focal length of 10 mm and an AFOV of 40°. It is a 1.25" barrel type eyepiece with a Kellner lens design. This Eyepiece from Antares has a 28 mm eye relief. This high magnification reticle eyepiece is a version of the Antares IRK-27 model but has an added Barlow capability to increase magnification and AFOV. It includes a fold-down Eyeshield, and all the optics are coated. It also has a helical focusing mechanism to optimize viewing of the XX glass reticle. The reticle can also be easily removed for cleaning if and when necessary. This Antares 10 mm - 1.25" - Kellner Eyepiece With Reticle And Illuminator is an especially good eyepiece for doing manual guiding with a guide telescope, where accurate tracking is essential.
