This model, the iOptron Photron RC10 - 10 inch Ritchey-Chrétien Telescope OTA also includes built-in cooling fans for the primary mirror to help quickly cool down the mirror surface, to reduce thermally induced turbulence within the tube itself. Its steel tube is equipped with 10 knife edge baffles to diminish contrast reducing stray light, improving the instrument in both visual and imaging uses.
