It is a high precision, portable, and stable celestial tracking platform for sidereal, solar, and lunar tracking. This Star Adventurer 2i Photo Package from Sky-Watcher now includes a built-in WiFi capability. Using a Wifi signal to connect to your smart phone, the Star Adventurer 2i contains preprogrammed long exposures, helping photographers create interesting time-lapse videos with your DSLR.
And it also has an automatic DSLR shutter release control. Also, it contains preprogrammed parameters. This package from Sky-Watcher is intended primarily for photographic use!
This "Photo Package"includes the Star Adventurer mount, polar scope with illuminator, and ball head adapter. An Optional EQ base is available for separate purchase. Note: A Camera and tripod are NOT included with this pkg. Note: An OTA, a tripod, and a counterweight kit are NOT included. Weight of head is 2.69 lb with the ball head adapter attached.
