The Lanthanum glass in these wide angle, long eye relief eyepieces yields views that truly are a MARVEL! The fully multi-coated lanthanum produces a sharp, clear image with less color aberration and super contrast. You will enjoy a pleasingly wide 80-degree field of view through a large diameter lens. This 14mm 2" eyepiece definitely gives you a "porthole in space" kind of feel!
The cool looking eyepiece body is made of aluminum and has a wide rubber ring to help you maintain a grip when changing eyepieces, even when wearing gloves. The barrel of the eyepiece is undercut to avoid any gaps when you place it in the telescope diagonal.
Protect your eyepiece optics with quality caps for both ends. The classy rubber cap for the front aperture has the Founder Optics logo on it and is really a nice touch.
