Yes, I do celebrate Christmas every month.
Or should I say that it just feels like Christmas every month.
Why? Because every month, some telescope company comes out with a new product, telescope or accessory,
and I absolutely like to try as many as I can.
Sometimes it's because I am skeptical about the manufacturers claims for the product, and sometimes it's
jsut for the sheer joy of playing with something new.
This month I am going to test out a new product from Celestron.
The New Cosmos 90 GT wifi telescope. http://khanscope.com/productdetails.cfm?productID=5308
I'm curious to see how well it's going to work with my iphone, or my ipad and what the user
experience will be like.
And that's the way I also know whether or not it's going to be a product we are going to recommend
to our customers.
So now I have a question for you. What was your best or worst telescope experience?
What telescope was your very favorite? Could have even been your Tasco 60mm refractor.
It's not about size or quality, it's about which gave you your very best experience in observing?
For me, I still use a small Televue Oracle refractor I purchased many years ago. It's only 75mm aperture ( 3 inches)
but it's still a quick grab and go telescope.
So, let me know. Just hit to reply to this email.
Look forward to hearing from you,

PS Man alive, I really touched a hot button with many of you talking about the age of the earth, the universe
and thanks a lot for all the thoughtful and interesting responses you sent.
