A most impressive image of M51 taken by amateur astronomerĀ Bob Stikeman from his cottage in Muskoka, Ontario. Canada.Ā It was taken with a Celestron CGEM 1100 with a Canon EOS 60Da at ISO 800 in 2 to 3 minute exposures. It was then combined on Images Plus v 5.75 and then edited with Photoshop CS6.
